So you have decided to go to a Haunted House this Halloween. So where will you go this year?.
Well it can depend on what kind of night your looking to have. Either Choose will be excellent if you have never been before.
-Deciding On which Place to go may depend on the times there open: Halloween Haunt 7pm-midnight during October On Fridays,Saturday & Sunday. Screamers is also just the weekends same open time.. but closes at different times depending on the day. [usually 11pm or 12,but the 17th its only till 10pm and oct,30th opens at 5pm.] Now that you know when your able to get in, Which One Will you go to? What do they offer? whats better for you money?
Well there both $30 + tax Whats the difference between the 2?
Screams: Mainly Indoors, The years I went it has been 5 indoor mazes & 1 out door.
This year 2010, Screams will have 7 mazes. While Canada’s Wonderland Has 10 Haunted Houses And mainly out door. I’m not sure what Canada’s wonderland would be like if it was raining since the mazes are covered so it might still be possible to go there.
The Difference: Canada’s Wonderland is bigger/ more spread out and theirs alot of people there & while going through the mazes your not spread out. Not being spaced out gives u the effect that your save since theirs so many people with you. This really makes Canada’s wonderland mazes suck in my opinion. Even tho they have more mazes don’t expected them all to be good. Since Canada’s wonderland Haunt is fairly new, there still trying to improve there mazes.Screams On the Other hand, Spaces groups of people out,Only your friends and you are in at the same time. There Mazes all are a lot scarier for sure. So which would you rather go to still depends what your looking todo.
Halloween Haunt: Have fun with some friends & scared once in a while & go on some roller coasters all for the same price.
or
Screams: Might Not be fun since you most likely will be scared soo much, which makes it a great haunted house.
-Going Back the year after at screams is really a waste of time and Money, it will be ok if your with some different people but probably not worth it as they usually don’t change much.
-Halloween Hunt, Might change more since there still working on making it better & also the fact the roller coasters are running is great.
-If its your second time, You will be Better off trying which everyone you haven’t been to before.
As for me, I haven’t been to Screamers in a couple of years so I’m hoping it has changed by now to make it worth my time again. See yea there!

— So last night I went to Halloween Haunt. I bought my ticket at a Mac’s Milk It cost $29 + Tax = like $31.50 the park opened at 7pm and closed at 12. All the Rides were open and then there were 10 haunted houses. I went on a couple of roller coaster but after that we saw no point because you can ride the coasters anytime of the year. We were there for the haunted Houses.
— We started off at one called: Blood Shed, It was very dark with lots of annoying sounds being played over the speakers. It was long and kind of boring and not many people were getting scared. I was happy just to get out of it and be able to see again.
— After that we moved on to: A Midsummer Nights Scream It’s a Maze which is outside in the Forest. This maze was a little better and kind of nice not being so closed in. Each line to get into a maze or Ride took about 30min – 50min. We entered the park at 7pm the lines were pretty good for the first 2hrs but after that they were getting huge.
— The Maze Miner’s Revenge was next, it was alright. The problem was they don’t spread out the lines so its just 1 huge line moving slowly together throw the mazes which means you can see what happens up a head making it less scary.
— The Maze: Clowns at Midnight In 3D was great. I think we enjoyed this one most. It cost $1 to get a pair of 3D Glasses I noticed lots of people not getting a pair but it’s not the same with out them. I recommend you spend the $1 and get the glasses it will just make the experience that much better. After the Clowns it was almost 12 so we headed towards the Front gate. We want one more maze so we went to Red Beard’s Rage This maze was very twisty and had things happen in good spots which made it good.
— Overall I though the Clowns at Midnight In 3D was the coolest and possibly even the scariest. For The price of getting on the rides and going in a couple of Mazes is a great deal. If you want to get a little scared or just have a lot of fun I recommend you spend a night at Halloween haunt and if you don’t like it well then it’s only a one time thing. But I’m sure with a group of people you will enjoy yourself and might want to even go back again for the mazes you missed. It’s near or even impossible to go through all 10 mazes in 1 night so you might find your self going back. For just $31.50 go enjoy Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland and see what you think for yourself.
Here’s A video to see what its like.Spoiler: Don’t watch if you plan to go.
